Was viewing the 1969 film The Italian Job the other evening. A classic. Enjoyable each time. I noticed an advert for Three Nuns pipe tobacco. The character of Mr. Bridger played by Noel Coward is given some reading material including a magazine containing a picture of the Queen. In one of the scenes, Bridger is leafing through the magazine, and there is a clear view of the back cover, which is a full page advertisement for Three Nuns pipe tobacco, showing a ceramic blue and white tobacco jar. I have seen the film maybe three dozen times or more, but this is the first time I have noticed the Three Nuns. Anyone else ever notice this too? Wish I could find a still photograph to post.
