I see she slapped her hand away twice but she did not 'punch' her per officers description. Frankly I thought they were all a little immature but I am getting old. I agree that the cops didn't appear to want to arrest anyone but french were too drunk to pick up on subtle clues. Besides they were from New Yawk and an example needed to be made !!!
YES!!
Slap it to the NYers!!

I live in NY.......the sensible Upstate part. :)

I love New York State (minus NYC and the surrounding sprawl). It’s like Pennsylvania, only more so. Unfortunately, it is ruled by the eastern representatives of urban and moral decay.
It's nice up here in the boonies.
But NYC is always creeping with statewide laws due to its crime.
There is zero crime where I live. :)

I’ve spent many happy days in the St. Regis Canoe area paddling around and camping. Just beautiful. Late winter last year I drive straight north, almost to Canada, to pick up a snow blower for my compact track loader. Hasn’t snowed more than 4” here since, but what a beautiful drive, even though it snowed on the trip home while in NY.

Gosh. Getting close to home there.
