Try acid reflux. Was coughing my lungs out last night. Was out of Diet Pepsi, so had some carbonated water. That thing for whatever reason started pumping acid. Took max dose x 2 Nexium to finally fall asleep.

I had a flu-like illness some weeks ago, had a cough which persisted for a couple of weeks. I stopped smoking for a whole day when I was down with a temperature but resumed once clear of that. YMMV.

Had the flu shot the past 20 years annually since I contracted the flu with no recurrence. But, what convinced me to get the vaccine was contracting it and spending 10 consecutive days camped out on the couch sweating like a devil. Smoke a pipe? Hell only thing I concentrated on was trying to get to the other side of the flu.

I had the flu a while back... Couldn't smoke at all, pipes or cigarettes. I dipped the whole time. After a few days of not smoking, it felt weird to start back.

It was like I could have just quit the cigarettes then and there, I didn't though.

That first cigarette after a couple days of being sick was amazing.

Flu shot? Hell nah, come on man.
