The Exceptionally Extreme Dangers of Piping in the Rain!

Large rain drops today, 2-3 inches predicted for Wednesday. I’ll be out of town through Friday, so I needed to bring a cage of firewood around for the wife and cat. After all summer and fall with little to no rainfall, I was a bit spoiled. 2 minutes into it today and I can’t keep it lit.

Time to look for the pipes with wind caps.

One technique that I've seen in a variety of old movies is smoking the pipe with the bowl upside down so that the rain doesn't hit the tobacco. Roger Livesey, Franchot Tone and others show us how it's done.
