I think it’s fire that is the drawl, at least initially. I’ve always enjoyed burning wood and smoking meat.

This is spot on for me too, I can’t help it when people are burning local hardwood during winter, and not get that Latakia-esque olfactory satisfaction

I knew from the age of 14 that I'd be a smoker. I loved the smell of cigarettes when I was a kid and I would often take a few from my dads pack when he wasn't looking. Never gave pipe smoking a thought until I was on YouTube and found timberdrifter,Matches860 & Muttonchop. Have not looked back.

Yes...LOL!!

I've read that both Lakatia and Lapsong Souchong tea were born by accident rather than design. Both are smoked leaves, of course. I like both for the same reasons.
