No rounding or pitting observed. Only the shellac on the MM was affected, but to no detriment to the cob's smoking abilities. These were top rack only, and the pipes were either waxed or oiled frequently enough that that provided some protection in addition to briar being hard. Surprised that the cob didn't fare worse.Edge of ...? Not sure how to answer.
Like where the bowl goes from top to side. Were any 90° angles like that rounded? Any pitting? Ran a wooden bowl through the dishwasher a few years back and it pitted the hell out of the rim and rounded it.
