The Diamondback Corn Cob Pipe

I have a couple of cobs in my collection I rarely smoke, not really a fan of cobs, but I have to admit, I like the look of the Diamondbacks. It's a collaboration between MM and TP.C for around $26.

What are your thoughts? Anybody here own one or two? Do you like the looks of the Diamondback?

The Diamondback has a rich, golden-brown, panel-cut bowl and diamond shank and a beautiful tortoise-colored Italian Acrylic bit.

I don't like the stain, or the shape of the bowl. But I wish there were more options for diamond or square shanked cobs around.

I saw it and liked it, just not enough to buy it they really need to make another, and huge, run of the reverse calabash. I am still kicking myself for not hitting one I saw a year back or so for $70.

Both versions were okay, but I'm still kicking myself for paying $50 each for them.

Due to certain marketing decisions, I won't touch them. I tossed out all of my cobs and replaced them with meerschaum.

The new pipe arrived today. I like the Diamond design. The stain is much like the Merrick. Solid construction with a generous size bowl.
I’ll have to park it next to the 1970’s forerunner.

Just ordered 4. Price difference was $8 cheaper than MM.

Just getting ready to start smoking found this pipe after I bought a chacom club 851, gonna run the diamondback as a rotation pipe, since I will only have the 2 pipes I'll let you know my first impressions even though I am brand new to the hobby. May not be the most in depth review though!

MM's FAQ once stated that their products weren't intended for recreational drug use. When they deleted that clause and introduced their Cornabis line and stash jars, the dissolved integrity put me off of the company and it just doesn't sit well with me buying tobacco pipes from a head shop but I've explained that one several times over the past couple of years.

It became immediately apparent that their aversion to pot was fear of legal repercussions, not ethics.
