So what will they do when pot gets legalized? Now suddenly its ok?
Officer: "What's in the pipe, sir?"

Piper: "Penzance, uh, I mean, pot, officer. Lots and lots of pot. Yep, I sure do love that weed."
So very surreal.

The DC Council passes the sidewalk smoking ban.
D.C. Moves to Curb Sidewalk Smoking, Youths' Access to Tobacco
And of course, the article focuses more on underage smoking than the actual issue; the sidewalk ban. They're always hiding everything with the 'Save the Children' excuse.
I love the part where they talk about issuing fines for teens who use a fake ID, but The Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids say that they shouldn't punish the teens they should go after the retailers.

It is always someone else's fault, not the person who actually does it.
The Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids also say that it shouldn't be a crime for minors to be in possession of tobacco.

Why not?

Last time I checked, it is a crime for minors to be in possession of alcohol. Shouldn't the same rules apply here?

Its easier for them to blame someone else than to take a hard look at themselves, man-up and accept some personal responsibility.
