Cobs are great! Everyone should have at least one or two. My mom bought my son a mini cob when he was 2 because he always wanted my pipes. He ate it.

Ya just breakin stones with the dark side comment. I really like the way it smokes but I need to swap out the juvenile stem. It’s tiny and cheap. I’ll order a real one.

The dark side? Lighter on your budget. Easy to smoke, so lighter on your mood. Often lighter colored. I recommend the special editions with the acrylic stems, so you never have to replace the stems, which are a bit soft. The special editions are about $24.99. MM's are great in the rotation, not instead of briar, Meer, morta, and etc., but a fine part of the team.

Cobs are great. I have around 30 dating back a couple of decades. I keep the original plastic stems on my yard pipes. They work well for clenching.

I just got a General as well. It's my second cob. Love the bowl dimensions and it smokes great!
