April 20th, 2018 Jackson, Ms. The Country Squire, Mississippi’s Original Tobacconist, has announced it will be moving locations. After almost 48 years, The Country Squire is moving to a new unit in The Quarter. We’re a little sad but very excited about the future!
The new ownership of the building complex (The Quarter) where the Country Squire is located has offered the Squire with a unique opportunity to expand to a large space and a larger space only 2 doors down. This is a great next step for the Country Squire as we service the Jackson community as well as all our cherished friends on the internet. Please watch the following video for the full story.

Sounds exciting and a little sad at the same time. I happened to meet Jon David at a Chicago show a few years ago and he was a true gentleman, one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. I wish him and the shop itself the best of luck with the move and new space.
