The Billiard looks much better, I find, than the Poker. Maybe it's the lenght of the shank on the Poker?

You might be right...The thing to keep in mind is that when I do a new design, it takes 3 or 4 to tweak out the details....sometimes it's very subtle variations that make a huge difference....
I almost compare the poker to a rough sketch- it will get another hour or so to sand out the bowl to 1500 grit, to adjust the stem length to give it some balance and to remove the annoying stem scratches that only seem to show up when I upload a hi-res picture....
Now here's the same poker with the stem from the billiard- 1/2" shorter- has a little more balance. I might actually offer a set with a interchangeable stem lengths and bowls- I designed it so the stem, shank, and stummel are interchangeable.

Very cool, I wouldn't mind giving that a smoke. Unfortunately estates are the only thing in my price range. Dr Grabow estates to be exact :rofl:

I will not use the word cool as it is beyond that. I had a boat that all my lines in engine were braided stainless and it reminded me of that. Functional Art, Deady looking like the Momba, the only snake that will hunt man. Winner, Winner, Winner.

Zack, I agree the poker looks much better with the shorter stem. Just add the ivory inserts and tell me where to send the money, lol. Hopefully, I can be the first to guinea pig one of these. Every time I look at the pics I get more anxious to get my hands on one!
