The Best 'No-Bite' Pipe Tobacco?

In general, many mild burley blends and latakia blends tend to be good starter tobaccos for this reason.
Pegasus or Amphora Kentucky are great burley options, IMO.
Navy flakes such as Windjammer or MB Navy Flake.
Some easy-going Orientals are Miskatonic and Luminaire.
VAs are a little tougher in that department, but i find Amphora's VA blend to be pretty ezpz, too.
There's a few ideas, depending on your tastes.

This blend is fire cured Virginias listed as a ribbon cut but more of a shag cut. Medium Nic Hit, rarely a relight and no bite for me regardless of cadence .
I honestly consider this an overlooked blend that many may find fantastic.

I used to, not so much anymore, I figure it's just one of those things your body adjusts to when you've been smoking a pipe regularly for a while

A really delicious blend will sometimes get me salivating in anticipation when I first light up. A Pavlovian reaction, perhaps.

Carter Hall, because it was developed in 1958 by the giant R J Reynolds tobacco company, for their customers who thought Prince Albert a little strong.

Often particular to an individual, but none of Boswells blends ever bit me.

Lane Burley Light Without Bite is pretty innocuous if you can tolerate it's very mildly aromatics nature.

That’s funny, and a great example of the subjective nature of the question.
I smoke mainly dark va’s and dark imperial burleys, and BLWB bites me every time. I got it when I first was exploring my tastes, and thought I must be nuts because everyone usually said the same sentiment as your post.

Thanks for the heads up.. I’ll be making a Gawith order soon with lots of samples and I may just throw a quarter pound or so of this one in the cart. I’m specifically interested in ribbon or shag cuts so this sounds fantastic.

all of them. Honestly though if you have a bite issue maybe try a filter or a falcon or other system pipe. The few blends I find to bite I'll smoke in the Falcon or Peterson system. And while you can still get bite from those pipes, it takes more work.

I honestly think you’ll get into this one. I was reluctant at first and threw some in on an order.
Glad I did as I’ve been thrilled with it around as an alternative smoke to my usuals. It’s becoming another usual though

C&D blends work pretty well for me. I smoke Old Joe Krantz original 3 times a day for weeks at a time. I also take supplemental vitamin C and it seems to help minimize irritation.

Just a little while ago I was surprised to discover two new tins in my pipe collection that I had forgotten about.

One is a tin of CAO Cherry Bomb, and the other is a tin of Kendal Top Black Cherry.

During my nightly walk on the battlefield, I tried the Kendal and found that it had no bite at all, which was a pleasant surprise.
