If it's an MTV kind of thing, no idea and happy not to have ever watched enough to have a memory of any, lol. If it's just a video that can be found anywhere kind of thing, in terms of entertainment and style ---- I could watch this every day and still enjoy it - lol, just did early this morning!

This is not the best music video I know, but, it’s something I thought some of you might get a kick out of—this was one of my earliest freelance jobs I did while I was a senior at the School of Visual Arts; there was an ad on a physical bulletin board with push pins for a music video for a new movie called The Goonies; unfortunately, the song only made the soundtrack, not the film, as I recall. I did the storyboards for this Arthur Baker video/tune. It was directed by my friend, Peter Wallach (Eli’s son); Peter and I would work on many jobs together in the years following this initial project together (unfortunately, I didn’t get to work on the two stop motion Peter Gabriel animated music videos).

There are too many to name. I'd inexplicably forget a few, and feel terrible about it later, so I won't even try.

What I can do, however, is "Best Music Video I Was In."

I'm the guy driving the van, frisking the lead singer, smoking the churchwarden, and in the nonsensical ending scene where I'm nearly clawed to death by a Garfield doppelganger.

Gosh, that was a fun production. The free pizza afterward made it all worth it. ?
Interesting...and congrats on surviving making that video.

I can only describe it as a stressful viewing experience.

It would have certainly been an appropriate entry in this thread if only it met the criteria of containing music.

As for the ending scene, all I can say is even free pizza wouldn't make it worth it.

That's awesome ! Hahaha!

A few things

1. How did you get involved in that?

2. Great sideburns ?

3. I wouldn't worry too much about Garfield's brother, the lead singer seemed more of a threat at the end there ?
1) Friends of friends. My friend Johnny was their tour manager a number of years ago (he's the menacing fellow waking up the lead singer at the beginning). It was a hastily concocted concept, but it was damn fun.

2) Thanks, I still have 'em!

3) Yes, I was keenly aware of the danger there. Luckily, I had the foresight to smear my nether regions in Capt. Black Grape*. That stuff would keep anyone away!

* Still trying to un-ghost my nether regions, seven years later... rotf
