I've seen this video before-it has gone around the internet a few years ago, but it never fails to bring out deep emotion in me for many reasons.
As a classically trained trumpet player dreaming of ending up in the NY Philharmonic, (I have played in orchestras all over NY in my youth, but alas, not the Philharmonic) it is exhilarating to see, at least once in a while, folks of all ages actually hearing a piece of Beethoven played right in front of them. And to see them fascinated, young and old alike.

I love Beethoven's Ninth, but this particular one sent chills up and down my spine. Thanks so much for posting it. You could see how the audience was moved by the piece, and that is what music is supposed to do.
I play Euphonium in the Cheshire (CT) Community Band, and I've been trying to talk our director into a flash mob for the longest time. Oh well, may someday. In the meantime, thanks, Peck, for making my day.

Wow, simply moving. I loved watching the the smiles on the peoples faces and they were touched by the music... I loved how the kids were getting into it. Music, the ability to move the soul. Simply amazing. Chills.
