The Aroma of the Shop

A beautiful smell isn't it? I am lucky enough to live not too far from one of the few tobacconists left in the country. I've been in there before looking at pipes, etc and had women come in and stand in the middle of the shop for a moment - "Can I help you?" the shop attendant says. "Oh no, i'm fine, I just wanted to get a whiff!" replied the woman, then she left and went on her way.

Yes, M. Cahill and Son in Limerick City is one of three tobacconists I know of in the Republic. It's a very old shop and worth visiting. I wouldn't get your hopes up on many tobacco purchases in Ireland as the selection is small and very expensive but you may find yourself a nice pipe!
