Thanksgiving Day Smoking Choices

We'll have about 30 family here for turkey day. When the grand kids fray my nerves enough, I'll go upstairs to the smoking room and suck down the strongest Balkan blend I've got. None of the little buggers like the smell so I get a little peace and quiet before round two.

As I tend to like my aromatics as dessert, after the big meal most likely I'll fill a bowl of Sleepy Hollow or Autumn Evening. Other than that, guarantee English, English, Burley and more English.

I was unaware that a company had named a tin after the day, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised ;]

It has been around for many decades at the Boston store and is only available just before thanksgiving. A very lightly pressed cake with a bit of a soapy lakeland flavor. Very good and long loved by lots of pipe smokers as an annual tradition.

Last several years the tin I opened on Thanksgiving was Christmas Cheer. I am down to one tin left…….I may save it two more years as it is dated 2004
