I am an old school Netflix watcher:
[*]The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

Poirot

The Winds of War

Hondo (Westerns in general)

Bleak House

Various BBC productions

Other than Hondo, the Winds of War, I prefer the English stuff. I love their speech patterns and accent!

Don't forget that all the episodes and films of Jeremy Brett's superb "Sherlock Holmes" is also available on Netflix...
IMO Jeremy Brett is Sherlock Holmes!

American version of House of Cards
Excellent! We loved the British version and are eagerly awaiting the new one.
I believe we have seen Bleak House ten times. (Both of these have Ian Richardson in spades. Sorry about the pun.)
Also recommend Doc Martin for a well-acted, on-location-in-Cornwall celebration of awkwardness.

It's hard to beat the Brits at mystery or humor. Any series containing one or both is well worth the watch. If it is entertainment that you want you can not beat it! The actors in general are true "professionals"...Netfix by far has a very good selection of this kind of stuff. We have ROKU and use it all the time over regular TV listings, unless AMC or PBS has something special.
