Haven’t been on very much lately. My pup’s been incredibly sick and I’ve been going to the hospital almost every day. It wasn’t looking good. Couple surgeries and the removal of half a lung later and this force of nature has bucked the odds.

Just wanted to share my joy while smoking a celebratory bowl. She’s finally come home. You don’t realize what a big hole they leave in your household until they’re away.

Wonderful story with a happy ending!
At times like this you realize how strong and resilient they are. She just kept fighting.

They still don’t know the root cause of the illness and she’s not completely out of the woods, but we’ve got our fingers crossed 🤞.

I'm impressed that she survived the surgery and impressed with the surgery itself. Veterinary medicine seems to have gotten pretty sophisticated!

We’re lucky we live close to the premier animal hospital in the province and she was able to be admitted. Our vet was able to use some connections thank the lord.

We are also lucky we had pet insurance. Don’t know what we would have done without it.

That surgery should have been covered by OHIP! :)
