I don't know about the rest of you fine Ladies and Gentlemen, but I sure do appreciate the quality Pipes & Cigars Magazine/Catalog mailers that come to my home once a month or so. They remind me of the old days when Iwan Ries and others would send regular mailers. I'd always sit down with a pipe and slowly peruse the pages, soaking in every bit of information and P&C eye candy that I could.
This latest issue of P&C, as usual, had great photos and descriptions, including some new stuff that Russ Ouellette has cooked up for us. There were great inclusions of other items like the full range of Seattle Pipe Club blends, etc. And, of course, looking at the latest pipe offerings was fun, too.
Keep those great issues coming, P&C!

I appreciate and look forward to the catalog as well. Even when I hadn't ordered from them for a while, the catalog was still nice to receive in the mail and read through to see what they had going on at the time. Besides, who doesn't enjoy looking at all those wonderful photos of pipes and tobacco? So thank you, P&C. :D

I'm always happy to see my P&C catalog in the mail regularly.
I'm particularly happy now that I have my P&C 2018 Calendar!

+1 Pipestud.

Only thing I wish they would do is give you an option to delete the calendar on an order. If you place an order a couple of times you get a couple of calendars. I want to save them $$. I only need one.

Cheers to that! It makes perfect bathroom reading material. I have many of their descriptions of blends memorized by heart now.

I have to agree with the consensus here, I enjoy getting my monthly catalog from both P&C and CI each month. I dutifully read through them. Look at the pipes I might like and begin to plan out my order for the month. It is kind of weird that I shop by catalog and order by internet.

Online ordering is great, but it's tough to beat a good ol' paper catalog!

I think anyone who posted something positive about P&C to this thread should take it back and hurry to say something negative. Positive notices about P&C? Unheard of!

I think the best catalogs ever produced were the ones from JR Cigars back in the day. Lew Rothman would rant and rant and rant for pages. Then he'd toss in a story about a cigar legend. No PC, no filter, no nonsense. Them was readin' catalogs for sure.
P&C catalogs are more about information, prices, facts. I'm not against those things, mind you, but I don't mind reading something smoking related that completely forgets to be useful.

First, thanks for the kind comments. We have a great team of designers and photographers to make an appealing product. We're proud of the people who work to bring our catalogs to you.

As to your point, we used to do a fair amount of articles and things of that sort, but as we grew, we needed to show more products so that content got squeezed out. The topic of bringing back some of those pages comes up from time to time, but we can't expand the catalog, and we'll be losing 2 pages to FDA mandates (warning labels) in the future, but I will pass along your thoughts at our next catalog planning meeting.
Russ

That’s what Pipes & Tobaccos Magazine is for.

As far as I recall, I never read the Sears Christmas Catalog for

opinion or articles in the 60's....Just for dreaming....all: relax and

enjoy it for what it is...don't overthink this...

Russ, thanx for the values you folks offer
