I like it. the rim of the bowl reminds me of a toasted marshmallow

I like the rim as it is - but what ever finishing touches you add, it is a great looking pipe!

@baskerville59, thanks Bob, really trying to find my way/style and can't wait to get some real bench equip in so I can take it to the next level ::
I figured I would change it up a bit with the black-top, since my others had been with a natural look...I really do like either style myself...

I do agree I think this is the best pipe you have dome so far. I really like the stem.

The grain and the black top make it look like an explosion! I expect a Balrog to pop out of it and force me to yell "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!" With my sword and staff akimbo! My favorite of yours so far!

Hi all, I do have one or perhaps two other small chunks from the big block I sliced for the TGIF AM Pipe carve, if anyone is looking for a plateau top/smaller flake-style pipe, shoot me a PM ::

In what has been a very trying and stressful week , I received a box of happiness when I got home on Monday, the pipe I bought from smokingdragon was at my door. When I got inside and opened the box, let me just say that the pictures really don't do these pipes any justice. It was beautiful and he threw in a matching tamper to boot. This thing smokes like a dream, no problem with the pipe cleaner test, wide open draw, beautiful workmanship, just an awesome product. The Orlik Golden Sliced that I chose to break it in with has never tasted better. I will be adding more of the Dragon's work to my collection and highly recommend his work, you won't be disappointed.

Scott, that is the best I have seen from you!! You are improving with every pipe my friend!!

+1 on this. I'm not crazy about panels but the stain job you did really shows off that grain which DOES drive me crazy in a good way. If the shank flared out for the stem, the connection would look better but that's just nitpicking. Beauty of a carve!
