Hello again, folks!

Well, it appears that ever since my first pipe (2011),

I'm almost ALWAYS experiencing a kind of tender tongue (not exactly sore, hurts a little bit)

after smoking, when I wash my teeth-mouth with toothpaste (not talking about mouthwash like Listerine- typical supermarket toothpaste)!

It's not that I have tongue bites often, or any of the like!

There just seems to be a reaction between the toothpaste and my just-smoked tongue; pure water, or salt water don't trigger it.

After a while, the tenderness retreats, but this reaction has been with me for more than a year now!!

I thought it would go away, hence the waiting...

I know you guys are not doctors, but I just wanted to see if I'm the only one to suffer it, or if it is a typical newbie thing or whatever :D

Thanks for your response in advance!

I would recommend a tooth paste that is baking soda based. Regular toothpaste will always burn a little no matter how long you have been smoking in my experience. I also second what Shawn said in regards to the Biotene.
