I was smoking a bunch of mac baren danish mixture this year. I stopped when I couldnt hack the flavoring they used. The maple sugar wasnt as heavy as with original choice, but the berry component just made tongue bite. And i couldnt deal with it any more.
Keeping the partially used tin in my car for a week, with temps under 50 at night, i never tasted the maple sugar, just a real light vanilla on top of actual tobacco. And no hint of berry.
Have had the tin inside the house 5 days, and its over 70 degrees temp. I load my first bowl up, the vanilla is barely detectable, the tobacco taste is minimal.
It felt like smoking borkum riff vanilla did 20 years ago.
but half way through the berry came through the flavor and started torching my tongue.
How would a simple change in storage and tobacco temp, change the flavor.
