+1 on Old Dominion. Haven't tried 558, but I'm planning on throwing it in the bag on Rouxgaroux day.
Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake. It’s very affordable. It’s really good fresh but in my opinion borders on amazing with a few years of age.
C&D Sunday Picnic (has a little oriental, but it's a great smoke that doesn't get talked about much. Great virginias and light on the perique but still has those dark fruit notes).
PS Luxury Navy Flake, Old Dominion, Bayou Morning Flake, and GLP Fillmore.

Dunhill's (now Peterson's) Elizabethan Mix, tinned, bulk, or Sutliff's match version is the standard for ready-to-smoke ribbon va/pers.
Readily available, I think of GL Pease. Telegraph Hill is medium strength, easy to smoke. Fillmore is fuller.
I like Rouxgaroux also. It’s only available 2 days a year, but April 1st is coming up and is one of those days (not a joke).
