OK, I realize I'm of a different generation and accept that times and fads change.
But why get tattoos on your BACK? Where you'll never see them, and the only people who will are the people who are *ahem* behind you.

I got mine on my back because my weight can fluctuate from 260 to 300 in a matter of weeks. My arms change in size almost every month and my legs are the same way. My back is the only portion of my body where weight lifting has very little effect. I have seen tattoos on guys that got them when their arms were little and to see them now is almost comicial. They look like silly putty after taking the ink off newspaper... stretched and ugly!

I have a few, each one with special meaning to me (none just for decoration, not that there is anything wrong with that LOL) and none show unless I choose for them to do so.
Here is one of them:

I have a few... one is a chrismon or chi rho symbol on my right forearm, another is one that my wife and I both have on our right wrists: a hebrew passage that says "I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine." instead of wedding bands. All my other ones are also different hebrew or greek text, some in shaped verse, and one even is a whole page in hebrew from the OT book of Isaiah that covers most my forearm.
I find it funny that people are always asking if I'm jewish since I have hebrew tattoos... because a jew isn't allowed to be tattooed or pierced according to the Torah.
