Taste Better When Smoking On Certain Side?!

I am lefty and I always clench my pipe on the right side. I use my left hand for lighting and tamping as it is more comfortable. In terms of better flavor, I wouldn't know as I never put the pipe on the left side of my mouth, it feels totally foreign and just plain wrong. It feels like I am cheating on the right side of my mouth. lol

I am a righty but tend to puff and clench my pipe on the left. I really can't tell the difference when I smoke on the right. I guess I will have to concentrate a little more.

It's not just me! That's a relief...
I guess I hold my pipe differently depending on which side I clench. On the right side, I seem to blast the smoke down onto my tongue, but on the left not so much. So I get more flavour and less burn when I clench on the left hand side.

Holding the pipe, I'm not so sure. I guess I still get more flavour on the left because I'm not bullying my tastebuds as much...

Funny, I was just thinking about this the other day. I totally agree. I'm a rightie but prefer my pipe on the left hand side and not necessarily sure that the taste is better on that side, (seem's to me it does almost always tastes better on that side) and it just feels weird on the right side. Great topic.
