With a fixed income, climbing medical bills, and health not really improving, I'm going down to strictly needs. When my monthly internet usage ends in the next few weeks I'll not be renewing it to keep outgoing finances as low as possible.

I'm going to miss you Duane. I've learned a lot from you over the years. Hopefully things will change enough in the future hat you'll be able to return at some point, but taking care of your self is the most important thing.
Duane your have been a long time servant of this forum and will be missed mate and as the others have said you always can come back to us if things change, lets hope 
Embers/Duane, you’re one of the absolute best on here! Very sorry to hear of your health issues getting worse and your financial challenges. I hope things improve for you in the near future. Always so wonderful when I see your name pop up on a thread.
I can't fault your priorities there Duane, but I sure hope and pray your health improves, your medical bills ease off and you can get back here to give your two cents...we have been on here about the same amount of time, and I can't really imagine this forum without you.

Man, that's rock and hard place. Quite apart from our sentiments in the sandpit here, going without an Internet connection nowadays is a tough call - it has become a dependency for living; I've tried to imagine going offline and can't think of a way without leaving bills unpaid or loss of control over some financial or social aspect. Life would get very complicated.
I hope you find a way around it, not for our sake, but for you.

Duane you have been a mainstay of this site even in all my years as a lurker and a member as well as on other sites. Don’t be a stranger though you can always check in on free/borrowed Wi-Fi somewhere can’t you?
