TAD, well, practically nothing at all. I did need to order 2 oz. of GH Black Irish X, since it doesn't surface but every 18 months, and C&D Mountain Camp, to see how it compares to Night Bayou, and some Tuggle Hall, just because I miss it so much. No TAD. Nothing to see here. I did order the special cigar cutter after seeing how it could be used to slice rope into coins, but couldn't find any rope to order until now.

It's extremely contagious and one of the worst side effects of TAD is FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).... If you have TAD and get the side effect, there is no hope of recovery and you will have to live with it the rest of your life.

There is only one known cure.....

Oh yeah, good catch, FOMO, once you get TAD good and settled and feel secure with your pile of Blend X you throw in some tins of blends members here claim are good, browse and play with the filters on tobaccoreviews and wonder just how woody or spicy or stronger blend Y is…and TAD flares up again.

LOL, I don't usually think I'm dumb but I keep seeing FOMO around here, especially lately, and every time I thought about figuring it out I gave up because I assumed the "F" was a different word than "Fear" and I couldn't come up with anything sensible because you know, what does the "F" in all these internet acronyms usually stand for.

Now some of the Folklore comments make more sense - I was also thinking it had something to do with "Fake Out" since there seemed to be a lot of "I won't order that because . . . . . ." and then I'm reading about how much those same folks are enjoying it, lol. Very clever lot around here!

I've found the common thread between TAD and PAD is they go into remission as soon as I get an email that says, "shipped", but seem to rear their ugly head almost immediately after getting an email that says, "your package has been delivered."

LOL, I just opened an email indicating my order from a few days ago from John at Wilke shipped (it's done over the phone so no "invoice" as such, just shipping notice follows the order) and I just sent him an email inquiring what I ordered because I can only remember one of the tobaccos ..... so I am kind of dumb and only posting this because it may be a symptom others may want to be vigilant about. ✌️?️

And the sister syndrome for TAD is TNTD. You have this tobacco hoard and daily packages coming in. Sometimes they go into the cellar, not to be seen again for years because you can’t keep up with the pace of acquisition. Other times you pop every new blend and have a bowl or two. You have 57 open containers and rarely look back for a second bowl. This is “Try New Tobacco Disorder”.
