After smoking "Golden Dankse" at The Briary's Slow Smoke yesterday, I had the insatiable need to buy tobacco.
There was a wide variety of samples in which to indulge, because the president and CEO of Villiger Stokkeby, Eric Stokkeby was in attendence and had some truly wonderful stuff to choose from. I was particularly impressed with 1888 Midday. It was really very good.
Side note: Master Pipe Maker Peder Jeppesen, had flown in from Denmark with a fantastic array of Neerup pipes. He provided a beautiful full bent as First Prize for the Slow Smoke.
Well to make a long story a little longer....
So, having said all of that I naturally picked up a tin of Peterson Irish Oak and a tin of Robert McConnell Perique (for seasoning and maybe a bowl of straight).
