TAD at the Seattle Pipe Club

Great meet last night of the Seattle Pipe Club at Smokey Joe's in Fife, WA.
While there mingling and trying out my first ever sample of Penzance (yu-mmy!)I met a nice lady who was downsizing her English Cellar. I took a chance, as I hadn't tried any of them but...
I got:
4x 50g Balkan Sasieni

2x 100g Rattray's Red Rapparee

2x 50g C&D Kajun Kake 2009/2010

1x 50g GLP Chelsea Morning 2010

1x 50g GLP Quiet Night 2010

1x 50g SG Commonweath

1x 50g SG Skiff Mixture
All for a very reasonable price!
I also got about an ounce of C&D Crooner from another guy who didn't like the taste. I haven't sample it yet, as(thanks to the forum here) I learned it ghosts pipes so I am saving it for a Cobb.

Killer haul, Wyfbane. Lots of good smoking there.
If you don't mind a question, do you SPC members get any extra breaks on your own Plum Pudding and Mississippi River? I'm not suggesting the product should be free, because free then has no value. However, your club and your product? I'm thinking you members should at least rate a 25% to 35% discount.

Hi Fnord.
Actually, I have only met Mr Lankford once and then it was briefly. As far as I know (3 meetings in last 4 months), the Club doesn't sell it outright and even we must get it thru P&C or from the Tacoma Tinderbox.
That said, I was at the Perdomo cigar event at Tac T-box today and the owner said that since CI's takeover of P&C, he has been unable to get it from them wholesale, so P&C has a monopoly atm.

Lol. That cooler is full of jarred tobacco from the GFs house... plus two more flats of 12oz jars and two boxes of assorted tins.
