It's like FVF and a hint of Latakia with a Scotch Whiskey topping that is pleasant. I enjoy it.

Yeah this is pretty spot on. Love Bothy and I'm not usually a fan of Latakia. Really unique with the scotch topping. I haven't bought any in years because I stocked up so heavily a number of years ago. Also love the backstory/connection with the Kearvaig Pipe Club.

I gave my bothy flake away. It tasted like diesel fuel. I wanted to like it but if wasn’t going to happen.

Funny, I felt the same way about Boswell's Northwoods. Tasted like I was smoking gasoline. Gave it away.

I've really only smoked Old Dominion, Rouxgaroux, 558 and the now defunct Waltham Broken Cake. that lovable crank makes some nice stuff. basically prepare your wallet
