Couple of goodies arrived today.

My latest purchase contained 2 tins of MacBaren HH Balkan Blend. The tins are dated June 2018. I had no idea I was getting aged tins. They probably cost more, but I don't really pay attention to prices. I get what I want, and keep adding to the cart until I get free shipping.
The price wasn't too outrageous or I would have noticed....probably.
I just looked, the HH Balkan was $15.50 a tin. That's the least expensive tin of MacBaren currently. Get to Smoking Pipes if you want any.

I got a bunch of them a few years back, long before the end was nigh.
Good stuff, so I stuck several back into the cellar.
I listened to those who kept saying that things disappear; and I noticed prices only go one direction.

I just compared to German sites,up 2,50€ per 100gr. Tin.
Kopp has to pay for the new factory so way.

I have slowed down on my overall purchasing of tobacco -- having nearly 40 lbs in the cellar has encouraged a bit of recent restraint. The recent XXV release seemed interesting though and so got three tins each Dawn/Dusk. And of course to get me to free shipping I added Star of the East Flake (I love the ribbon version and have been meaning to try the flake) and Geometrie (I am fond of Oriental-forward blends and this one sounded intriguing). So four new blends to me that make my cellared total 104.
