I was surprised to see the Wessex burley in stock (and may have bought the last one); it's new to me, so I figured that I'd give it a try. Same with St. Bruno: I don't know whether it will become a favorite, but I'll likely enjoy it--there are very few tobaccos I've disliked so far.

It will be a favorite, buy more! At 11$ a pouch, good deal. It is one that didn’t get the axe, but these in stock were made by Mac Baren. STG might mess up the formula, or could improve it.
I’d try it soon, and if you like it, they have still have some at a good price. Cheapest I’ve seen anywhere. It’s a solid buy.

I have the strongest suspicions that McConnell Highgate, Davidoff Flake Medallions and Charatan Rolls are all the same product but under different names for different markets.

I don't think this is a bad thing. They are nice. I don't think they are the exact same as Davidoff @BingBong The Chartan core is more of a chestnut brown than the black centers from Davidoff.

A little TAD + PAD parcel arrived today from Mars. Found some tobaccos to try and a lovely little Merton St Claude estate prince. The pipe is in good condition and has beautiful straight grain all around the bowl. Needs a bit of cleaning, but I'm very happy with my purchase.
This is my 1st French pipe.

I never gave this tobacco much thought, assuming it was an aromatic. By the time I learned the truth, it was too late. Saw some show up on P&C and had to get just a bit to try.
