The other bomb on my bank account arrived this morning:

That Sillem's tin is the most metal tobacco blend package I've ever seen, everyone should have one just for display!
Early in my pipe smoking days I bought Sillem's Black, just for the tin.
Hated the tobacco, ended up giving it all away. Still have the tin, though.

Just finally boxed up all the Sutliff bulk after the final boxes came... (yes they will be mylared within the next couple few months)

Looking at it all together for the first time... I am officially done. Please reach out to my emergency contact if you see me post more TAD. Think I'm gonna need some serious therapy or something. I mean, yanno, 5 years from now when I get the spare cash again, that is... 😬

I applaud you. I did a rough count. I’m at 96-100 bulk 1 pound bags… and probably about 40-50 pounds tinned.

And waiting on about 10 pounds of bulk to come in

Yeah that's probably about where I'm at bulk if not just a bit more cause I've also got another 10lbs or so of the higher end stuff (Macbaren, 507, and Newminster) not pictured to be bagged first.
(I'd actually never bought much bulk until the last few months... some but generally only ever in 2-8oz increments)

You definitely outpaced me in tinned, WOW lol.
I mean I have a decent amount of a couple here and there from over the years (I cellar wide rather than deep in general) but my main score with the recent smash-and-grab was my beloved Magnum Opus and I'm sitting at around 36 (plus a couple dozen other H&H Balkans, mainly) with that so... blessed enough for me but definitely not like your precious Hiking hoarde 😂

All in all tho looking through everything I'm actually pretty pleased with the decisions I made. I was thinking I'd bought some dumb/panic stuff but after sampling things and inventorying I mostly got the right amounts of the right things I wanted. It was a bit of a gamble because some of them were ones I'd never even tried before but between reading reviews and knowing which types of blends I already preferred, I was able to both shore up old favorites and even secure some new loves puffy

How much toilet paper did you buy and hoard during COVID?

Goldleaf Selma to be impossible to find.
have you tried Charatan roll which you have bought earlier?
who makes Charatan?
The Gold Leaf was sold out in a day or less, they can't have had very much.

I smoked through a tin of Charatan Rolls a while back, quite enjoyable folded and stuffed - the perique is not particularly strong and there is a casing, but I looked forward to smoking one roll every night. It's made by Kopp; they have a love of liquorice and berry casing, so it was something like that - it backed off the longer the tin was open. Charatan tobaccos are among the most expensive here though, more than Germain's, so I haven't gone big into them. I like the Rolls and Black Flake, have a couple of tins stashed.

I come to London in the end of April. I think Samuel Gawith and G&H tobaccos are best options to buy since Germains is not available.

Fox may have some Germain's blends, unlikely to have the straight virginias though. There are only a few B&M pipe tobacco shops left in London - Fox, Smoker's Paradise, Turmeau.

I've been enjoying F&T Vintage Flake, that's a pretty good virginia. Another Kopp production, with their casing.
