Think I had pretty much the same thing happen, but with Newminster 400. Checked the page right after I got it, and sure enough, boom, already gone.I think I may have ordered one of the last remaining bag of Dark Twist that were available.

Thanks. I'm in the flat area near Griffith Park so no fire so far but plenty of air quality issue. My wife freaked out and ordered 3 air purifiers for our house. Now I'm being slowing driven mad by the droning sound of all 3 devices firing on max speed along with the sound of 24/7 TV coverage of the apocalypse.Think I had pretty much the same thing happen, but with Newminster 400. Checked the page right after I got it, and sure enough, boom, already gone.
Hope you're well clear of the inferno zone, my friend!
Those roll cakes are so labour intensive to make so that's probably the reason why they are discontinued.I think I may have ordered one of the last remaining bag of Dark Twist that were available.

Glengarry and Interlude are two of my favorites. Hope you enjoy them as much as I doAll the recent panic over Mac Baren and Sutliff's closures seems to have distracted folks from the restocking of a couple harder to come by Gawith blends, so this week I was able to pick up a tin of Fire Dance Flake as well as the ever elusive Glengarry Flake plus a little selection of Cherry, Whiskey, and Rum flavored twists and a tin of C&D Interlude to try.
Fire Dance Flake and Glengarry Flake have both been on my wants list for quite some time but had proven very difficult to get ahold of up until now so I'm really happy to have finally gotten my paws on some! I also nabbed a pair of cigar scissors for cutting the Gawith twists.

I think you're right since STG's intention of buying out Mac Baren is to eliminate competition,Those roll cakes are so labour intensive to make so that's probably the reason why they are discontinued.
