The whole thing was perfect, what with a big log cabin with no electricity and a big long table, a 20 foot high vaulted ceiling, flickering lamps. At one point, late at night around 1am, a pack of coyotes went wild about a mile from camp.
If you find a book in the basement bound in human flesh, DO NOT READ IT.

Hahaha we talked about making some type of creepy "relic" to hide somewhere at camp, something that fit with the story in the game, but with only a week with that group in camp, we didn't have time to do it right. I was fully prepared to spend the college's money on it, too. That was my job, to facilitate such experiences for students. It was the best job.

I spent many hours alone at that place, and let me tell you it wouldn't surprise me to find the Necronomicon down there amongst the old pipe fittings and such.

I played 2nd ed every Saturday night from 99 to maybe 2006ish? Very high adventure with huge stories from our GM. I spent some time painting Reaper mini’s too since we used a grid system. I tried 5th ed and Pathfinder a few years ago and didn’t get into them. I also used to play World of Darkness with a bunch of vampire the masquerade people. It was interesting, just didn’t get into it as much. I also played WoW from early 05 to 2010 and then quit.

I also forgot to mention Magic the gathering from 95 to 2006 when I got rid of my collection. That had a huge influence on our gaming career where I grew up at.

I mentioned the delta green in my original post it's a modern setting with elements of Lovecraft/cosmic horror that really set it off

I’ll 2nd Trivial Pursuit. it’s gotta be the one from the eighties though. The new has too many bullshit type questions where the answer might be something like “Taylor Swift“. I like UNO and Jenga + Connect 4 and Milles Bornes too. My one buddy has fireball island- we play it sometimes too.

I have recently resolved my nerdom and proudly wear it on my sleeve. Was wondering some threads here as I am doing game prep for a Pathfinder 1e adventure path (Second Darkness) that I've converted to Pathfinder 2nd edition rules....and wondered if there were any other gamers out there?
Where do you live?

Please
put your location in your Profile, as people are forgetful.
Why:
That will save questions in the future as to where you live when you later mention local stores, weather, tobacco prices, availability, regulations, location of photos, wildfires, air quality, etc. In many instances that saves time for those who read your posts. It cuts down on posts or PMs asking where you are.
How:
Under your avatar, (top right, left most of three symbols) you choose "Account Details", which brings up "My Account". "My Location" is halfway down. Whatever you're comfortable with- town, city, county, state. province, etc.
