I just bought this beautiful pipe from Paul's Pipe Shop. It's unsmoked but been sitting on the shelf for a while and you can see the silver band is tarnished. I was wondering if there were any T. Cristiano experts on here who could tell me more about the pipe. I understand the "FATTA-A-MANO" is Italian for handmade. But there is also a "99" stamped on it. Would that be the year it was made? Also, This is the first pipe I've purchased that has a real silver band on it. How is the best way to polish the silver without messing up the briar. Just tape over the briar and use standard silver jewelry cleaner on it? I appreciate your wise input!
