I think I was around five years old. My sister taught me how to doggie paddle in our above ground pool. I remember be terrified and clinging on to the ladder so much that I messed the ladder up and it was always loose.
In college I was called “titanic” due to my lack of ability to float. I’ve gained 30 pounds since then and I still sink like a rock. I don’t know why I can’t float. Guess I was meant to be ballast.
