What would you guys recommend for something that tastes sweet both fresh and aged? I've had a few different things that taste great out of the bag but mellow out to no flavor over time. I’ve heard good things about Molto Dolce and I’ve got it on order so we’ll see how that goes but I’d really like to find something that sells in bulk.

Lane LL-7 & Sutliff Creme Brûlée.
I've had both blends fresh & after a few years in Mason jars & they don't lose any sweetness or flavor with time.
If you don't care for aromatics there are many straight Virginia blends that would work...

Lots of folks suggesting non-aros and vanilla blends for you, as you didn't request that, ha ha.

Molto Dolce, as I am smoking some that is almost 8 years in the tin it came in, and the sweetness has held. The Creme Brule is the bulk for that but without the extra spray of topping, and I don't have experience with that. But I really enjoyed the Molto Dolce with age, as that extra sugar really has penetrated the leaf over the years.
I picked up my tins in a $6 per tin if I ordered 6 tins, so I bought 12, and it has taken me forever to smoke four of those tins, ha ha. But, the paper tins have held up nicely. I have no plans to swap them to more durable jars, as this one isn't one that is going to really go through any fermentation process with age, and it is so sopping wet, that I have no fears of it drying out in another 8 or 10 years.

Maybe, wait for a Sutliff sale.

Thanks! I've tried CB but I left it in the ziplock bag and I guess that’s why it lost it’s flavor. I’ll get some more and put it in a jar. Haven't heard of LL-7 until now but I’ll also add it to my next order.

I could've been more specific about wanting an aro but I appreciate all the suggestions people gave.

Good to hear that MD has held up well over the years. I’ll add a few tins to my next order.

In my experience, Sutliff Creme Brulee is the same as tinned Molto Dolce. The main difference I realized is that bulk Creme Brulee is less expensive.

I also thought of another aromatic that fits the bill regarding the OP's inquiry - Uhle's Raider Blend.

Apparently Uhles gave samples of possible blends they were considering offering to a local Milwaukee area pipe club to try. Raider Blend was the landslide favorite.

Here's Uhle's description - "This project, created in honor of a local Smoking Club, is a spicy twist on a classic dessert: cherry pie with a tang. Ingredients: Cherry Cavendish with a “spec” of Latakia."
