One of the blends I bought as a result of the Fall blends thread was Sutliff's Pumpkin Spice. Now, it's an aromatic, and I bought it to fill the room with a nice Fall aroma.

The short of it is that this blend is everything it says it is, but it's just a bit too much for me. It is a very strong aromatic, and it's driving note is a marshmallow /nutmeg flavor. There are other flavors in it, but I cannot for the life of me taste any of them except a hint of cinnamon.

Now, the room note is a hit. EVERYONE who has smelled it says it is the epitome of Fall. The taste isn't necessarily bad either, but it gets pretty sweet fast and stays that way throughout the bowl. Having said that, I've never smoked a blend that so accurately reflects the provided description.

I'll smoke it occasionally from now on, but it's just not my cup of tea. If you like strong and sweet aromatics, this is definitely the blend for you.

I like many “fall” aros but the Pumpkin Spice hit the trash can after giving it a fair chance. Something just wasn’t right - glad it was a sample! Their Christmas Spice and Spiced Rum I like, go figure.

So, let's make a poll or something. Who here thinks I should cut it with
1) Exhausted Rooster
2) Haunted Bookshop
3) Night Cap
4) Savinelli's Jupiter?

Wouldn't the raw sugar and orange make it taste sweeter?
I would have thought it would be a more rounded sweetness rather than an artificial one. Also my approach was to use the pumpkin spice as a condiment rather than the main component. If I were doing it for myself, I probably would only use 5% tops.

I’m curious to hear how you find mixing it with the blends suggested above 👍🏼

I never thought of that! So rather than using another blend as a condiment, maybe I should try to go through my PS supply by using IT as the condiment. I guess I would eventually go through the 4oz I have, but I kind of dread the idea of packing another bowl.
