Glad it worked out for you. People should keep in mind that this blend - and McClelland 5100, too - were designed to be mixers and not smoked straight. The fact that they can be smoked straight and enjoyed by fellow smokers is an added attraction in my view. Btw, a lot of people felt the need to dry 5100 before smoking it straight.I'm smoking the 515 I left out to dry at C. Embers and jiminks suggestion right now. It's a lot less vinegary, it's still there but it's muted and much better integrated with the natural Virginia now.
So if you haven't, try giving it a hefty dry.
