Yes, it is vinegary to a degree that suggests a topping vs natural fermentation, but upon drying as I do any virginia before packing, it loses much of the sharp aroma, doesn't really taste of vinegar, and is a good basic red Va if that's what you're after. Not up to the par of McClellands, but after seeing Cringle Flake 2020, I have faith in Sutliff bringing a regularly-available, high quality to market eventually.
