I was wondering if this tobacco was actually made with Maduro Cigar leaf?

Hmm, the reviews on TR don't mention cigar leaf and it's not listed in the description. Very curious to now myself. Hard to imagine why they would use cigar leaf in that type of aromatic. Carl McAllister is a blender of great renown.

I believe the maduro describes the black cavendish, and is not an indicator of cigar leaf.

I find the blends name interesting as maduro is a Spanish adjective meaning "fresh". Sort of an oxymoron.
