Just got an oz of Virginia Sutliff 507, and it will not stay lit! I am very solid with packing and drying. I normally relight 0-3 times. I don't think it's me. I've not had this cut before or stoved tobaccos. Has anyone else experienced this? It smells great and taste great too; it's a shame it won't light. Before someone says what's wrong with relights......I mean it literally goes out in mid puff. Maybe this cut requires a different packing or dryness?

Wanted to edit this post: It says its a ribbon cut which I have had but it looks like huge thick ribbons. I have not had it like that before do I need to break it up?

Yes. Some blends( or all in my case) need not only to be broken up, but literally obliterated. Dried to a crisp, to the point where you can just pour the tobacco in. Not pack, not cram, not stuff, pour.
