I think I passed the point of needing more tobacco some time ago, but I keep reminding myself that the day is indeed coming when tobacco is going to be near impossible to obtain, or so expensive as to make it cost prohibitive.
Sales like this are when I like to stock up on a few extra pounds of some old favorites just to salt away in the darkness of the cellar. If nothing else, when we return to the days of bartering, I may be able to trade a pound of good smoking tobacco for a country ham or a quart of good sipping whiskey.
