And the revival of a frozen brain.
That’s right! It won’t be long before we can change heads…or even swap out our brains.
“Hey Doc.” You say while looking at a spreadsheet of heads and brains. “I’ll take this head with this brain.”
Or. “Doc. I don’t want the entire package. Just give me the brain.”
For me…just a new brain would be good. I’m happy with my head.
What say you?

If they kept their memory, I think many who opted for a brain transplant would discover that the (presumably) brilliant person whose brain they acquired had just as many confusions and sorrows as they do and would pine for the original equipment. The grass always being greener.

”Now that brain that you gave me. Was it Hans Delbruck’s?”
“No.”
“Ah! Very good. Would you mind telling me whose brain I did put in?”
“Then you won't be angry?”
“I will not be angry.”
“Abby someone.”
“Abby someone … Abby who?”
“Abby … Normal.”
“ … Abby … Normal?"
“I’m almost sure that was the name.”
“Are you saying that I put an abnormal brain into a seven and a half foot long, fifty-four inch wide GORILLA?!?
IS THAT WHAT YOU’RE TELLING ME?!?

I don't know about brain transplant much, but digitalization of human consciousness, now that's something that will have a massive interest in a very near future :)

I wonder what it would be like to have a different brain? Would life start over with learning new memories like a baby? Do you get the old memories of the brain? That's like thinking about how big the universe is-it hurts my head to the point of I have to quit thinking about it.

And I wonder if the heads come with or without hair, or...how do we go about picking a brain?
I've been called "pea brain" many times. It would be my luck I'd pick "shit for brains," brains.
Or would that be a step up for me?
Here's another thought.
Who decides if the replaced brain can be used by another? The Doctor? A scientist? A brain committee. I mean some brains should never be used by any other human being. Just say'in!

Well, I should hope so. You're the one doing the bunching, and you're not so old your hearing's gone yet!

Well, I am somewhat attached to my very own brain. A new body, with a thick stem, one that I can bend at will, would be desirable if it's in great shape and 50 years fresher than the one I inhabit.

 -Yep ... damn spinal cord makes it hard to take it out for a rinse.
I think my brain might seriously consider a full body transplant, except the vain bugger likes what it sees in the mirror.

Too late for the last election.
I'm not so sure...the nationalist candidate apparently received a globalist brain sometime in the last few months. Must have been a DARPA project.

Not in a million years, imo. Consciousness is the one non-thing that modern science will never even approach with its materialist thinking and methods.
