jpmcwjr: do you mind telling me what those 2 ware? I've just recently moved to the SF Bay area, and I'm looking for B&M's to adopt
I know about Telford's , and I'm going there tomorrow for the pipe club meeting. And there used to be the Humidor, but it 1) wasn't much to look at, and 2) seems to have closed.

Happy to. Piedmont Tobacconist is just off Piedmont Ave. In Oakland. Steve Rich is a nice guy and a knowledgeable tobacco guy.

In Sacto, it's The Briar Patch, two locations, one opposite the Capitol and one in a shopping center.

Telford's is fine, too, but not on any of my paths as are the other two.

Yo ech - SteveR @Piedmont Tobacconist was one of the guys responsible for getting the Esoterica line into the U.S. That's a small but high quality shop(pe).
