I haven't posted this thread in years but Super Bowl Sunday is my favorite holiday. NO relatives, travel, cooking, cleaning, decorating or presents. My team isn't playing so no stress, it's just a day to dispatch my minions for takeout food and to sit around smoking pipes all day. In years past I'd break in a couple of special new pipes. Nothing new this year but I'll be enjoying a couple of large Dunhill billiards. What pipes do you have on the bench for the big game?

Nothing exciting today. No plans today other than sitting here playing some Super Tecmo Bowl on my original NES until the "big game" starts. No guests, no parties, just ordering a Pizza (kids choice), and watching the game with the wife. More for the commercials this year as I don't care for either team playing today. My Seahawks aren't there, and the other teams I was rooting for choked (Bills and Lions), so I'm just hoping for an entertaining game. My brother is a Chiefs fan, so I'll be pulling for them especially since I hate the 49ers! Currently puffing on my Ser Jacopo bent apple pipe with some GL Pease - Chelsea Morning. After a few bowls I'll head in from the shop around game time for the festivities.
I have a quiet evening planned watching Law & Order: SVU. I could not care less about the Super Bowl. I don't believe I have ever watched an American football game in my 20 years in America.
Later on a Miscoi Canadian and some Capstan Blue are on the agenda!
o.k. now I know why the neighbors have a bunch of cars parked on the street. I rarely smoke on the weekend unless I go out to do something. And something is usually running errands.

My Super Bowl Pipe is a 2008 Rad Davis billiard.
The pipe is 6.5 inches in length with a 2 inch bowl.

I remember watching the first Super Bowl. That was a different time and football was a better sport. I'll probably check updates on the game, but I won't watch it. I have my Peterson Aran filled with Match V.I. P. and will enjoy the evening in semi-quiet.
Unfortunately I can't see the TV from my smoke room, so I am loading up and smoking with my Great-grandfather who was also an avid pipe smoker until he passed at 90 years old.
Have you tried playimg TSB on one of the handheld systems (like RG35XX)? It's similar to a Gameboy Color and has lots of older games (and ability to download other games).
I'm probably going to pick one up (about $65) just for Tecmo Super Bowl.

I'm smoking a Ser Jacopo prince after the game. I didn't smoke while watching because my son in law came over to watch it with me on the big screen TV and he doesn't care for my English blends.
Since he gave me the TV and helped me mount it on the wall and replaced the power supply in my computer while he was here, I owe him that courtesy!

Example why are you so chill with that jerkface? Because I know about appendicitis and how it seems to just happen to people.
I play it on my original NES console from when I was a kid, but I also have original Tecmo Bowl and STB on my arcade cabinet as well as TB on my Nintendo Switch. I prefer it on the original NES.
