Due to the temps being in the 30's today and tomorrow is supposed to be much colder, I enjoyed my Super Bowl smoke today instead of tomorrow.
I enjoyed a bowl of Tuskegee Airman in my Dunhill. I won this blend in a C&D contest to guess the score of the Superbowl. Since it was one of their new blends, I am guessing that this was Superbowl 2011. I didn't enjoy latakia then, but now it is growing on me.
I also was able to fix my router, so I made great progress on a new pipe stand, for a new pipe I bought that doesn't sit in my regular pipe rack. Word of advice, don't use hickory as a prototype of a new project.

The Superbowl and the NFL playoffs are my favorite holiday's. No gods and grandma's, relatives, gifts, travel, endless cooking and cleaning are involved with Super Sunday. As usual Brandy Old Fashioned's will be enjoyed and I'll send my minions out for some wings. I'm a little sad that my Vikings aren't playing today but I guess there's always next year.
I usually save a new pipe that I got in the past year to be debuted on Super Sunday. This years Super pipe is The Cocoon by Adam(Clickklick)of Carmette Pipe. This magnum size freehand is truly a Super Piece showing a detailed sandblast and comfortable hand cut blue cumberland stem. The pipe measures 3 5/8 tall,6 3/8 long with a very large thumb size U shaped bowl. 8O

Dave, that is pretty cool looking with a great blast. Sounds like that will last the whole game.
I have some 2012 Mac Baren Old Dark Fired ready to go for the game.

Not that an exciting but works for me: I got a John Bull and Erin Go Bragh tobaccos from pipes and cigars, threw them both in a Mason Jar, Let it age for about 4 months and I find it to be a decent blend. Smoking it in a Peterson- Donegal Rocky (X105) P-

Lip and a Corn Cob.
