Summer Blends

It's not really a conscious decision, more so that I notice my cravings change. The tobacco tastes the same, but the experience is better for some reason. It's just more satisfying.

Exactly right. I'll still smoke whatever tobacco I'm given though, it's more when I have the luxury of choice.

I find that I like Virginia’s in the summer and Latakia’s in the winter as well. I loose my taste (or want) for Latakia when the heat and 100% humidity of Central Florida kicks in. A good Latakia blend in the middle of winter with a fire going in the fireplace is a little slice of heaven to me.

Virginias, Va/Pers and Va/Orientals mostly but also Cuban and Toscano cigars.
Sometimes on a perfect night, I reach for a Latakia bomb, Billy Budd, Pirate Kake, Old Ironsides, Ten Russians as examples.

Ain't it so, Jay! One of the many, many benefits of living in the greatest place on Earth!

To the main question, I do not purposfully alter my rotation, but, I do find I smoke less latakia in the warm times and, though not a real devotee of aromatics, I find I really enjoy a peach blend now and again on a fine summer day.
