Title Edited for caps and brevity. Rule 9

After smoking erinmore flake i can safely say that virginia's are what hits my palate best.

If possible list down some virginia blends from Peterson, Samuel gawith, Capstan, Cornell & Diehl, Orlik, Macbaren and rattrays as they are the brands that are readily available where i live

Its a plus if any of those reccomendations would be similar to erinmore flake. Is amphora full aroma similar ?

I'm not sure you'll find other Virginia blends that similar to Erinmore Flake. Bieber, cheap enough to try several. I'd recommend MB HH Pure Virginia, MB Virginia Flake and GLP Union Square. All really available at SP or TP.
How about Macbaren Virginia no.1. Is it any good ?

Samuel Gawith: Full Virginia Flake
Pease: Haddo's Delight (w/perique)
Peterson (formerly Dunhill): Deluxe Navy Rolls
Orlik: Golden Sliced (w/perique)
Rattrays: Marlin Flake and Old Gowrie
Cornell & Diehl: Low Country Atalaya (w/perique)

Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of MacBaren and haven't tried the new incarnations of Capstan.

Erinmore’s topping is unique, and there aren’t very many Virginia flakes that are as heavily topped as Erinmore, regardless of the flavor.
Agreed.

I'm a fan of erinmore and I think it's a pretty unique flavor.

That said, there are a few things I like which are definitely different but have something about them which points in a similar direction. Or, as some people like to say, scratches the same itch. Those for me are University Flake, Irish Flake/Stirling Flake, 1792, St. Bruno. Also Revor Plug, but I believe you can only get it in the UK. If you're looking for a direct replacement for Erinmore, I have a feeling you'd probably be disappointed by most of those. But if you're looking for other strong VA based flakes that are topped enough to notice but not aromatics and not floral lakelands, they might hit the spot.

I also have two things that are more in the classic Virginia category -- I believe both are very lightly topped but not sos you'd notice -- that I smoke in the same pipes as Erinmore and play well with the ghost of said. Those are Orlik Golden Sliced and Reiner Long Golden Flake (sometimes called Gold Label). I'm sure there are others that would fit this category, but those are the ones that I can verify as complimentary.

Also just thought of this... If you're in the UK or ever visit there, here are a few other things worth trying that STG also got when they acquired the old Murray recipes (along with Erinmore): Mick McQuaid, Warrior, and Yachtsman. Those come in plug format but are interesting in their own way. Come to think of it, you can also get Erinmore in plug format there. I prefer the flake version though.

You can go to just about any tobacconist on the web and they will recommend at least a 100 (1000?) diferent blends. Personally I prefer G.L. Pease's Six Pence and Stonehenge.
